An exceptionally talented group of young musicians have released a charity single, Hometown City, that was inspired by the 10th anniversary of the 7/7 London attacks. Having been updated after the recent terrorist atrocities in Paris, the single contains a very powerful message not only of remembrance and love for our 'hometown cities', but also a message of hope and resilience that serves to unite all of our communities.
The 7/7 Tavistock Square Memorial Trust, together with Awards for Young Musicians and Association Francaise des Victimes du Terrorism, are the chosen charities to benefit from any proceeds raised.
The project has been led by anonymous London producer 'Falcon Fields', who says he is "delighted the proceeds are going to three very worthy causes. Two of them are working to commemorate and help innocent victims of the attacks in London and Paris. The third is also extremely important to me as it provides essential funding and other support to help young musicians nurture their talents."
