The Annual Lecture
The 7/7 Memorial Lecture was conceived to provide a lasting positive remembrance to those who lost their lives across all four sites and to acknowledge the courage of the survivors, the witnesses, and the emergency services who did what they had to do on that day. In 2015 the Lecture formed the first of two official commemorations to mark the 10th anniversay of the London Bombings.
The Lecture ran for a total of five years from 2012 to 2016, and the audience which was primarily made up of the families and fiends of the deceased, survivors and members of the emergency services and civilians who came to the aid of the wounded was priveleged to hear from:
